Stocking the right CAT6 type cable balances performance with market demand. Our CAT 6 data LAN cable cable delivers guaranteed 250 MHz bandwidth, supporting Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) up to 100 meters and 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) up to 55 meters, making it the cost-optimal choice for most commercial upgrades. For you, this means:
Wide Application Appeal: Perfect for corporate office networking, school campus wiring, IP surveillance systems, and smart building projects, ensuring high turnover.
Superior Quality, Reduced Returns: Constructed with 100% pure bare copper conductors (not CCA) and precise pair twisting, we minimize signal loss and crosstalk. This results in reliable performance that reduces costly field failures and returns, protecting your reputation.
Global Compliance Ready: Our CAT 6 cabling products are available with UL (USA/Canada), CE (EU), CPR (EU Construction), and RoHS certifications. Simplify your logistics by sourcing compliant products for multiple markets from a single, reliable manufacturer.
Consistent cable quality depends on more than the final inspection. At Xingfa, quality checks are carried out throughout the manufacturing process, from incoming materials to finished cable testing.
Conductors, insulation materials, jacket compounds, shielding materials and fillers are inspected before entering production. Materials that do not meet the required specifications are not released for manufacturing.
Automated production equipment is combined with designated quality checks at key stages. Our production team monitors cable dimensions, conductor consistency, insulation quality and overall cable construction during manufacturing.
Depending on the cable specification, testing may include:
Characteristic impedance
Capacitance
DC conductor resistance
Resistance unbalance
Continuity
Insulation performance
Transmission performance
Cable length and dimensional checks
Additional tests can be arranged according to the required standard, application or customer specification.
Finished CAT6 cables are inspected and batch-tested before shipment. Product appearance, printing, packaging, construction and electrical performance are checked against the approved order requirements.
Independent third-party testing can also be arranged when required.
Production records and batch information are retained to support traceability. Relevant certification documents and test reports can be provided according to the selected product model and order requirements.
The best shielding structure depends on the installation environment rather than speed alone. All three constructions can be designed to meet CAT6 transmission requirements, but they provide different levels of electromagnetic protection.
CAT6 Type | Shielding Construction | EMI Protection | Installation Considerations | Recommended Applications |
U/UTP | No overall shield | Standard | Easy to install and terminate | Offices, schools and residential networks |
F/UTP | Overall foil shield | Higher | Requires compatible shielded components and grounding | Commercial buildings, CCTV and smart-building systems |
SF/UTP | Foil plus braid shield | Enhanced | Proper grounding and shield continuity are important | Industrial networks and high-interference environments |
Choose U/UTP for conventional low-interference installations. Choose F/UTP when the cable route is near electrical equipment, power cables or other interference sources. Choose SF/UTP for more demanding industrial or equipment-dense environments.
Choose U/UTP for normal indoor environments.
Choose F/UTP for moderate electromagnetic interference.
Choose SF/UTP for industrial or high-interference installations.
Solid bare copper is recommended for commercial networks, PoE systems and long-term project use.
PVC is commonly used for standard indoor installations. LSZH is suitable for projects requiring reduced smoke and halogen emissions.
The required certification depends on the destination country, installation environment and project specification. Certification availability should be confirmed for the exact cable model.
Order quantity affects material planning, packaging, customization and unit pricing. Providing an estimated quantity helps us prepare an accurate quotation.
What Affects CAT6 Cable Pricing?
CAT6 cable pricing depends on several factors:
Copper cost and conductor size
U/UTP, F/UTP or SF/UTP construction
PVC or LSZH jacket
Certification requirements
Package length and packaging type
Customized printing and private labeling
Order quantity
Destination and shipping terms
For an accurate quotation, please provide the cable type, conductor, jacket, certification, package length and estimated quantity.
What is the main difference between your CAT6 and CAT5e cable for my customers?
The key difference is performance headroom and future-proofing. While both support standard Gigabit Ethernet, our CAT6 cable offers higher bandwidth (250 MHz vs. 100 MHz) and better alien crosstalk suppression. This allows it to reliably support 10-Gigabit speeds over shorter distances (up to 55m) and ensures more stable performance in high-density installations, making it a more forward-thinking choice for your commercial clients.
What certifications do you offer, and how do they help me sell in different regions?
We provide a full certification portfolio:
UL/ETL Listing:
Essential for selling into the North American market, as it's a requirement for many commercial bids and insurance purposes.
CE & CPR (e.g., Cca, Dca):
Mandatory for the European Economic Area. Our CPR certification ensures the cable meets fire safety regulations for construction projects.
RoHS: A global environmental standard.
Having these certifications pre-approved speeds up your sales process, as you can confidently bid on projects requiring specific compliance.
Do you offer customization options for CAT6 cable?
Absolutely. We provide several value-added services for distributors:
Custom Lengths and Printing: Bulk cable can be cut to specific lengths and printed with your brand name, meter marks, or project identifiers.
Color Variants: Available in a range of standard jacket colors (blue, white, grey, black) for project coding.
Packaging: Options include master reels, 1000ft boxes, or custom-branded retail packaging.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for bulk purchase?
Our MOQ is flexible to support both growing and established distributors. We encourage you to contact our sales team directly with your target volume and region. We are committed to building partnerships and can often provide competitive terms for initial trial orders.
How do you ensure consistent quality across large production runs?
Consistency is guaranteed through vertical integration and strict QC. We control the production from copper drawing to final packaging. Every batch undergoes electrical testing for performance (e.g., insertion loss, NEXT) and mechanical testing. As a manufacturer since 1996, we have institutionalized processes that ensure the cable you receive today matches the quality of your order next year.
